The solid curves are based on post-ID confidence (like those in Experiment 1) and the dotted curves are based on pre-ID confidence (applicable to only Experiment 2). The pre-ID confidence data were binned into confidence levels from 0–40, 50–60, and 70–100. The y-axis starts at 50%. Note that the values that contribute to a CAC curve are proportions from the whole sample and so CAC curves do not have error bars
