Error Bars represent 95% Confidence Intervals. The right panel illustrates the temporal analogues of the Ebbinghaus Illusion for each of the 3 moderating conditions in Study 5 by depicting the relative perceived size of 60 min (center circles) when surrounded by 30 (small circle flanks) versus 90 (large circle flanks) minute activities. The number of pixels used to represent the diameters of the center target circles were calculated to preserve the relative proportions of the mean judgments for each condition.
